No Damages After Malang Earthquake, says Official

The Regional Disaster Management Agency of Malang, East Java, confirmed no damages occurred during Sunday's earthquake, July 26. Some officials have combed the coast of Malang District which is closest from the epicenter.
“We have coordinate with a number of south coast officials,” Chief of Regional Disaster Management Agency Emergency Field Malang District Bagyo Setyono said Sunday, July 26.
There were no reports of damaged buildings in the area so far, Bagyo said.
“Residents are advised to stay alert given that the area of Malang District is potential to earthquakes,” he said.
The 6.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in Malang at 2:05pm with the location of the epicenter at 150km southwest of Malang District with a 10km depth, followed by an aftershock measuring 4.1 Richter Scale at 6:28pm.
“The aftershock did not cause any damage or tsunami,” said Bagyo.
